Government and Academic Cooperation and Exchanges
We are devoted to the promotion of information literacy, healthy use of internet and the prevention and treatment of internet addiction by means of three levels of prevention.
Regarding to the plan from Industry-Government- Academia Cooperation Section, Service Learning and Volunteer Services Program, internet addiction service station has been set up in school counseling center, to provide primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of internet addiction.
a) Primary prevention - through the cooperation of Industry-Government-Academia Cooperation Section, service learning and volunteer services program, promoting mental health education and correct information attainment among students and public; learn to manage of self-internet behavior.
b) Secondary prevention – based on Industry-Government-Academia Cooperation Section plan and intervention plan, to provide counseling service toward high-cared student and public in improper use of internet.
c) Tertiary prevention – to set up "healthful outpatient service" toward university, hospital and community.
Outcomes:
a) Primary prevention – to combine with student service learning program among elementary school and junior high school, guiding students to know about the factors, consequences and prevention strategies of internet addiction.
b) Secondary prevention – to integrate Student Learning Program with the courses of Elementary school and Junior High school.

Teenagers' Feedbacks
100% of the students reported that "We could live a life with high sense of joy, meaning, belonging, and accomplishment without Internet.”
100% of the students believed that they had increased their abilities to cope with stress, emotional management, positive thinking and time management.
Parents’ Feedbacks
100% of the parents reported that they had gained more awareness and confidence in parenting their children to use Internet healthily to prevent internet addiction.
94% of the parents believed that they had gained more confidence in parent-child communication, and effectively improving parent-child relationship.
c) Tertiary prevention - to form an alliance between China Medical University and Asia University in purpose of providing “healthful outpatient service" toward internet addict.
